What about Children's Ministries?
At Springdale CRC, we are committed to helping all ages grow in grace. We have excellent ministries for our children. For the youngest children (infants to toddlers up to age 3), we offer child care during the service. During morning worship, we offer Sunday School that teaches the truth of grace in age-appropriate ways during the church hour. We also offer Sunday School for grades 5-8, from September through April, following morning worship.
For grades 4-8, we offer two exciting ministries that meet on Tuesday evenings. Gems is a ministry for girls and Cadets is a ministries for boys. More information about these programs is below!
For grades 9-12, we have Youth, which meets on Wednesday evenings. This time of discipleship and fun brings the gospel to life for those in the difficult middle school years.
Cadets - Boys Club
Our Cadet program is part of the ministry through the Calvinist Cadet Corps, an independent youth ministry whose purpose is to share Christ's love with boys from the church and community.
The Cadets ministry encourages studying the Bible as the guide to life and experiencing our Lord in His glorious creation. Learning the skills of an outdoorsman builds a boy's character, and developing a boy's understanding of his place in God's world helps him to be a faithful steward.
The Calvinist Cadet Corps is also the ministry of men of God who are dedicated to bring boys into a living relationship with their Lord and Saviour. The Cadets program provides Christian men with a uniquely designed structure, program, and materials so that they can mentor boys effectively.
Our Cadet program, for boys in grades 4 - 8, meets weekly on Tuesday nights from 7pm to 9pm, October through April. Please contact us for further information on how to be a part of this program.
GEMS - Girls Club
GEMS Girls Club is all about, well, girls! Girls are active, imaginative, and unique. They are passionate! And GEMS offers them the perfect place to learn and grow as they discover who God created them to be. GEMS is an acronym for Girls Everywhere Meeting the Saviour.
GEMS Girls Club is a place to belong. Girls are welcomed into a vibrant community of mentors and peers who genuinely care about them. GEMS is an exciting, safe environment for girls to learn about God, His Word, and His world.
Each year, a Scripture passage is selected and a theme is developed around that Scripture to make the passage come alive for the girls. Bible studies, service projects, crafts, games, and other fun activities are created to teach the truth of God’s Word that is found in the theme.
Springdale GEMS, for girls from grade 4 - 8, meet on Tuesday evenings from 7pm - 9pm, October through April. If you would like to become a part of the club, please contact us!

Beginning in October and running through April, grades 9-12 meet together on Wednesday evenings from 7pm until 9pm. We seek to bring our youth to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ by encouraging spiritual growth, creating service and evangelistic opportunities, helping them to develop leadership skills, encouraging relational and inter-generational ministry and encouraging youth to stay connected to the church.
Fusion Youth meets for either Bible study, meal nights, community service events, or games every Wednesday. There are a variety of activities and studies throughout the year.
